Lilies and the Old Tree
Near our little creek is an old, shady tree with a sunny clump of lilies. I was inspired by them to create this mid-summer pastel painting.
I am pleased to be able to offer 'Lilies and the Old Tree' for sale as a print. It is $30.00 for an unframed print and $75.00 matted and framed. Postage is extra. I love seeing my work framed and finished so I am doing that part at cost. Image size is 10.75"x11.25", Frame size is 20"x20"

My Background
I retired after spending many years working in the federal health care system as a medical illustrator. I admit I am a detail person who enjoys gardens, people and their pets. So, it was natural for me to start painting portraits of both.

I find that painting pastel portraits of people, dogs, and pets in pastel and mixed medium allows me to paint in the hyper-realistic detail that I love. Although for fun, I have started branching out to landscapes in watercolor.

You will receive a 10”x14” portrait or other art matted and in an approx. 18”x20” frame. most frames are black although, other colors and styles can be discussed. Watercolor landscapes are currently framed in 11”x14” size.
